GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST
"IQOS TAKES YOU TO TOKYO, TO THE GLOBAL TOGETHER.X EVENT"
The contest called "IQOS takes you to Tokyo, to the Global TogetherX Event" (hereinafter referred to as „Contest“), is dedicated to registered IQOS users who have applied to the contest by retreiving the relevant benefit on IQOS Club or have actively participated in one of the IQOS TogetherX activations in 2024 (including but not limited to referral of an adult smoker friend, trade in, device purchase, accessory purchase, attendance of a together X event) , that compete to win a trip to Tokio through the contest consisting of 2 rounds of challenges defined below. Participants must be over 20 years old and smokers or IQOS users. Participants must be residents of the Republic of Albania, proving this by showing an ID card to Company representatives, if requested (hereinafter referred to as „Participants“).
Philip Morris Albania Sh.p.k. , Rruga Murat Toptani, Pallati Qendra e Biznesit Eurocol, as an organizer of the Contest, has the right to suspend, stop or change the General Terms and Conditions of the Contest at any time and for any reason. Everything that Participants earn in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions up to the time of change, suspension or termination will be honored.
- Rules of the Contest
The Contest "IQOS takes you to Tokyo, to the global Together.X Event" for Participants who have applied for it in a way described above, starts on August 15th, 2024 and lasts until September 5th, 2024. In this period, the competition consists of the following rounds:
- From 23.08. - 27.08.2024. a quiz which will be sent by email will be available for all Participants, consisting of 5 questions, related to knowledge of the IQOS brand itself, IQOS CLUB and the TogetherX engagement platform. The quiz can only be run once, it cannot be done in multiple attempts. For each correct answer Participants earn 10 points. For further participation in the competition, the top 100 Participants with the largest amount of points and who answer the quickest will go on to the next round.
- From 29.08. - 01.09.2024. for the top 100 Participants from the first round, another quiz will be available, consisting of 5 questions, related to knowledge of the IQOS brand itself, IQOS CLUB and the TogetherX engagement platform in Albania. The quiz can only be run once, it cannot be done in multiple attempts. For each correct answer Participants earn 10 points. In this round the top 2 Participants who answer with the largest amount of points and who answer the quickest will win a trip to the global IQOS Together.X Event in Tokyo.
General rules for winners:
- All winners of the competition will be notified via e-mail on September 5th, 2024.
- For all Participants who participated in the last round of the competition and did not win, the organizer will reward them with 20 IQOS CLUB points.
- The top 2 Participants who won in the last round will get the trip to Tokyo, Japan. Departure date from Tirana is October 16th, and the return date is October 21st, 2024. Global Together X Event takes place on October 19, 2024.
- Expenses for travel, accommodation, meals, activities in Tokyo and organization are covered by the organizer.
- All competition winners will sign relevant consent forms before traveling.
- If, due to justified reasons, one of the winners will not be able to realize the won prize and travel within the specified period, the next Participant with the most points will be subsequently selected and informed about the trip.
- All winners must have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months prior to the date of travel.
- The plane ticket is valid for one person and cannot be transferred to other person.
- The trip includes return air ticket Tirane-Tokyo-Tirane, accommodation and meals for a 3-day stay in Tokyo, organized tours and sightseeing tours on 18.10.2024 and 19.10.2024, attendance at the global IQOS Together.X Event where Steve Aoki performs, travel insurance and travel organization costs.
- In case of cancellation of the IQOS Together.X Event, flight, or similar, which is beyond the control of the organizer, the organizer bears no responsibility.
2. Other
Philip Morris Albania Sh.p.k. reserves the right to investigate participation in the Competition in order to detect any abuses, and to take all necessary measures to prevent or remove them. The result obtained by misuse or non-compliance with the General Terms and Conditions will not be delivered to the winner for whom the misuse is determined.
Philip Morris Albania Sh.p.k. reserves the right to contact all Participants who won the competition and request additional information in accordance with the law, in case the law requires the payment of taxes. The taxes will be paid by Philip Morris Albania Sh.p.k. Participants who refuse to provide additional information will not be able to use the prize won.
Relevant Albanian legislation applies to this competition. In case of any dispute, the court in Tirana will have jurisdiction.
The competition "IQOS takes you to Tokyo, to the global Together.X Event" is organized by Philip Morris Albania Sh.p.k., Rruga Murat Toptani, Pallati Qendra e Biznesit Eurocol.
