Superior reliability

IQOS ILUMA offers the true taste of tobacco. However, unlike previous IQOS models that have the blade, the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ by IQOS ILUMA heats by induction thanks to a metal element present inside the SMARTCORE STICKS.™

The ILUMA IQOS line therefore does not have blade inside the device and is more reliable when compared to previous IQOS models**.

How the new SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology from IQOS ILUMA works

The new IQOS ILUMA is the first of the IQOS models that introduces the Induction heating technology. Thanks to the presence of the heating element directly inside the tobacco stick, blade is no longer present in the device and, above all, the device does not require cleaning.

The innovative SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ heating technology allows you to heat tobacco from inside the new SMARTCORE STICKS.™ These new tobacco sticks can only be used with IQOS ILUMA PRIME, IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA ONE devices.

With no more blade, IQOS ILUMA offers a cleaner way to heat tobacco from the inside, without burning it, to deliver the true taste of tobacco without tobacco residue and, like previous IQOS devices, without smoke and ash.
